Crisp and clear bass, rounds out my surround syste
I recently upgraded my home audio/video system. I added a Samsung 55" UHD curved screen TV, Samsung UHD DVD player, Yamaha RX-A850 7.2 Surround Receiver. I already had a JBL 6.1 Surround System. The subwoofer with that setup had a couple capacitors replaced a few years back and one of the connections was now loose. To fix that I bought two of these subwoofers that balance each other out perfectly. I'm a JBL person for life!

Solid range and clarity
I bought this a month ago to replace my other JBL sub that got damaged in a move. I was already happy with the other one but little did I know what I was missing out on. I love the sleek contemporary design and the clear crisp bass that accompanies my music, movies and games. 5/7 would buy again.

Best Bang for the Buck.
I got this sub for $100, a pair of arena 120 speakers for $90 and the arena 125C Center Channel for $125, all on Black Friday sale. I also got a pair of Jamo surround speakers from FRYs for $60 also on Black Friday. I just built a complete Home Theatre system for under $400. Can't beat the price plus it has great features that rivals those $1000 system. I like how the sound and conversation is crisp and clear now when watching movies compared to my old bookshelf speakers.

Perfect for Complete Coverage
Ok, this bad boy really packs a punch for its size. I particularly like the boomy sound typical of a ported (or in this case, dual ported) enclosure. It does sound a little swampy with rock especially with double bass drum, however, not as swampy as other ported enclosures...it is a little tighter and hits the lows very well due to JBLs superior design.

Best Bang for your Buck!!!
I have two of these. One for the home theater sound and the other in my SUV. Running the home theater with a Yamaha sound bar and the 100P. The other 100P is in my Ford Explorer. Running a Hi / Lo converter to a 400 watt power inverter to the 100P on a stock audio system. The sub puts out high quality bass at an affordable price. Amazing!!!

how do i connect Yamaha r-s202 receiver with no dedicated sub connection to the arena 100p?
HI there, if the Yamaha R-S202 receiver does not have a SUB-OUT or SUB PRE-OUT, you would not be able to connect the JBL Arena 100P to it since it only has low-level connection. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us directly by submitting a case request at https://www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service Team will be more than happy to assist you.

Hello, I was wondering if there was a way that I could connect this sub to my iPhone 7
The Arena Sub100P can only be connected to a receiver or amplifier thru a sub-out/LFe.

Can i connect my Samsung HT-J4500 to this subwoofer?
It would depend on the HT-J4500 ports. The Arena sub uses RCA inputs or LFE inputs for the connection.

I have an old JBL 12 inch subwoofer. I have the JBL PSW-D112 subwoofer. My subwoofer sounds very good but it’s starting to give out. Does the JBL arena 100p sub sound better or about the same as the JBL PSW-112 subwoofer?
Hi! The Arena 100P Sub is weaker than the older JBL PSW D112 subwoofer. However, it could still give you a wide range of frequency range and good quality.

I'm a newbie and i wanted to ask want cable to you need such as an aux or what ??
Hi, and thank you for your interest! The signal cable is not included, so you will have to purchase one with the proper length and plug arrangement. If you download the owner's manual from the JBL web shop, on page 3 you will see that there are different cable connections, and that the cable is not included.

I have a 25'x25' room with 12' ceiling. I have 8 ceiling and wall speakers that could use some additional base. Would this 100P sub be adequate.
Hi! Since you do have 8 speakers inside the room, yes the Arena Sub100P will be sufficient enough to deliver you all the bass frequencies. But if you really want to have that very powerful bass, we would suggest having the Studio SUB260P.
